Bass EQ flat,no contour, bass at 12 or less on the head EQ Actually it happens not on lower notes (or,at least, not only) but also on the A string (for example, D and E played on the A string with enough strenght caused the high excursion) Could it be pickup's fault? I set it quite high...

One question: when i play quite hard on my MM, for example during rehearsals, my RBH 210 seems to suffer (under a 700 RB II) Speakers gets lots of excursion, and i have not extreme settings ( gain 10-11, boost 11-12,woofer between 12 and 2 o'clock ) Is that normal or just too much signal from...

Maybe the D.I. was damaged or oxidized The 400 RB has a great volume for its wattage,and a really good sound

If you want to cut through the mix and have volume, GK. Good sound alone, but not so much volume and gets quite lost in the mix ---> ampeg :troll:

174$ for a SBX410. Something like 130-140 Euros. I'd buy 4 if only there were prices like that in Italy...

I thought GK SBX were good cabs and not so entry level

He's gonna use that setup also for small gigs and for practice... and 2x15 are big. 2 2x12 would be good... However...the 210+115 Mesa Diesel is an already "tested" pair, and they both have same EV drivers because they're from the same series. 210+115 from the same series usually sound good.

If you get 2 cabs the you'll have to buy something to double the speakon output (the MB 200 has a single speakon out) What about used Mesa Diesels (2x10 + 1x15 ) ?

IMHO you should get a single 4 ohm cab. How much money can you spend for the cab?

So you can't have a higher volume without getting a dirty sound?
