as far as i know many bass players like to play a pedal point un 2 and 4 during the bridge of Autumn Leaves.

I agree, there is a whole industy selling cool stuff. But music starts in the head and then you need the skill to bring this out of the instrument. I think there are many other interesting examples possible like: Bassplayers...

Everything is the same. (Bass, strings, recording setup)
The only difference is the "human factor".
