Hmmm, I already own an e609 that I mic my guitar with for guitar gigs and I LOVE it! Never thought about applying it to a bass cab.

We have different sound guys at different venues. We occasionally run sound from the stage, but we don't have a dedicated sound tech. I think I just want to try micing to see if I like it better and if I can get consistency for the sound coming out of the mains. Too often, what I hear out front...

No earth-shaking reason, but have run direct for years and too often the tone out front is not what I have on stage. Different venues, different sound guys. I think mainly just to see if there is much of a difference and if I like the difference. I know a couple of bassists that prefer micing...

Thinking I want to stop running direct (currently out of the back of my Markbass) and simply mic my Eden 4x10. Don't want to run line out AND mic either. Just mic. Looking at Shure Beta 52A, AKG D112 MKII, Sennheiser e602 II, and Sennheiser e902. Any thoughts on these mics?

While they certainly aren't light (they weigh 98 pounds) I am very partial to Eden D410XL cabinets. Can get super low or downright punchy depending on your taste. I usually use just one, but at outdoor gigs or bigger venues I use two of them. Plus, I am DI-ing in to the PA as well. I love 'em...
