Ernie Ball do make a 30.5 nickel roundwound set, the 2852 and 2853 sets, link to EB page is Slinky Nickel Wound Electric Bass Short Scale Strings | Ernie Ball . I haven't tried either yet but want to try the 2852 regular slinky set.

FYI, the mikro in roadster orange just went on sale for only $149 at musician's friend.
