    Pretty sure it’s a 5-string Jacobacci bass into an EMS Synthi Hi Fli. Bernard Paganotti had what may be the first-ever five string bass in France. For a similar tone, try the EHX Bass Microsynth.

    Hepcat Pickups?

    Has anyone here used Hepcat pickups? They're a [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] that makes replicas of 50s through 70s P-bass pickups, and of 60s and 70s J-bass pickups. How do you like them overall, and how do they differ from more common "vintage" pickups like Lindy Fralin?
