Hepcat Pickups?

Old thread but I finally got an answer.
These pickups don't seem to be known by many people, which is a shame because they are absolutely fantastic. I have the 72 set in a Nash Jazz Bass and the tone is to die for. Very growly bridge pickup, fat and warm neck, full and thick tone with both on, very nice slap tone, super transparent and dynamic and they react nicely to the tone blend, achieving lots of tonal variety. I have literally zero complaints and think that they are a very authentic representation of a 70's Jazz Bass PU. It's an absolute shame that so few people seem to know about them. Maybe Hepcat should give some of their stuff to a popular bass channel to review it. I have no doubt that it would catch fire and score lots of praise. These are great pickups. Definitely up there with Kloppmanns and other well respected pickup gurus.
