Yeah....Ill do that too...I didnt know if maybe theres a "home depot" solution anyone else has tried.

The good news is that I got a good deal on this amp...the bad is that its missing some of the buttons for tuning mute,etc. Does anyone know where I can get them or what I can use instead? Thanks in advance!

Nope...its at least a 6. I had a 6 and it took up all the space. The one in the pic looks like it was specifically designed for the SVT2,so it would be great to find. I tried to see what the logo on the top of that case is but no luck. Ive been looking into 8 space ones but then finding one with...

Hey all...what rack case should I use for my SVT 2 Pro? I know they intake from the left and exhaust out the back but I find it hard to believe that Ampeg would create a rackmount amp that cant be rackmounted without overheating. Thanks in advance:bassist:

Thanks. I should be more specific. What I meant was a thin neck similar to a Geddy...not the Geddy neck itself.

The ironic this is that my guitar players bust my balls about it but thier lead channels with distortion hiss like crazy.

Its in the manual at home...Ill have to check it later. I dont think is nopisy power because it happens at practice and different places. I have an Ampeg B5R and have it EQ'd to boost the mids and the three tone controls flat so i could control tone from the pedal. Ill try to back the treble...

I have my ampeg volume and master at about 3/4. I set the sansamp up with the "King's X sound" just for a starting point. I like it so ive kept it there.
