Hi all, I want to build my own cabs, but are a little bit unsure of materials to use, and thickness for the walls...? I made a test-cab almost similar in size to the new Trace Elliot 2x8 cabs. Made it with some pine boards i had laying around, not too thick..maybe 10mm.. threw in 2 x Faital 8"...

Wiring was correct, and it worked like a charm with the Barracuda.. Anyway - this is an awesome amp! Gave it a little try with "some" volume, and the other guys was just standing there shaking :roflmao: Too bad i sold my other OBC810. Would be fun to test this amp with two 810 cabs...

I am pretty sure thats how i wired it. Used channel 1 to cab, mono... I'll check in just a few hours.

Yes i dit. You have to be gentle when doing it. Overheating it is not good. It looks better in real life than in the picture :D

Just a little art on the stock pickup cover :) More mods to come as soon as i receive a little box from USA. Hipshot bridge and tuners - in gold. Gold knobs. And a plexi pickguard in transparent orange. Im going to swap for another pickup also, but havent decided yet if i`ll go for the std...

Thanks man! I`ll give it a try. And if i would ever need more power, then i can upgrade to another poweramp (not likely though). (Btw - i assume the 200w of the AD200 is not directly compareable with an ss poweramp)

I actually have a Crown XLS 2002 Drivecore - wich has 650w @ 4ohm on each channel that i can try first, if not underpowering the cabs? I use it today with two 8ohm 300w Trace Elliot cabs (375w @ 8ohm on each channel of the Crown). Possible to upgrade to an XTi 4002, wich will make 1200w @ 4ohm...
