    The AI Clarus with the upshot or double shot is essentially a combo. With the upshot you have 350 watts in a back pack. You can also expand with another speaker. I use my Clarus SL-R with the upshot and an AI Wizzy 12. This makes 600 watts and sounds pretty nice.

    I just got the upshot / clarus combo and so far I love it for the sound and size. I did also get the Euphonic Audio wizzes Mline for times when I need more power. I haven’t had it out on a gig since it arrived in the middle of COVID times.

    yes, I tried that yesterday and the difference was significant which I think is due to the increased power that comes with the reduced impedance from 8ohms to 4ohms. I don’t think I will need more power/volume any time soon.
