    Darkglass teasing a new product

Am sure they’d sell more with a basic ‘model list’ of what’s actually in it with the current software? 😂 +1 to all the requests over how good the pitch tracking (or drop tuning for some) is. Should be a great unit even though I’m only a recent adopter of the Fractal VP4 😬

Show me your compact pedalboard setup

This is the package I bought. Check the bottom left cable 😮🤘🏼 I bought directly from their website for a much better deal in the UK. Delivery took a bit longer but saved some cash that way.

Exactly! Absolute winner and totally off of everyone’s radar so far. Need to test it thoroughly next but if it meets expectations, we’ve got a much cheaper (and smaller) option to the wonderful Cioks units. Was too tired from work to wire everything up this afternoon so, will report back in a...

First board assembly in a while. More to follow if anyone is interested…..

    Quad Cortex - Neural DSP

Yes, that’s the correct. Adjusting the input impedance doesn’t seem to help though for me anyway

    Quad Cortex - Neural DSP

Very true, tried that but seems the input gain adjustment is the only thing that mitigates the issues so far.

    Quad Cortex - Neural DSP

Wouldn’t an input pad like those found on the front of an amp be great in the QC? Then those with a hotter bass wouldn’t need to adjust the input gain in every capture. My bass is pretty hot so similar issues as mentioned above with most captures distorted. Only a thought, but very little...

    Aguilar announcement

The only useful thing they could add right now would be an refined/updated Tonehammer pedal with the headphone input and possibly Cab sim’s (still not a big fan yet). For the rest, just get the damned prices down again, especially in the U.K. Totally priced out of the game currently. Still...

Assuming you’ve tried raising the pickup(s) a mm or two, or lowering the action of those two strings slightly first? Using a compressor to fix a common setup issue is a bit of a ‘sledgehammer to crack a walnut’ approach, which can only assist to a certain degree without heavy compression levels.

Excellent, thank you! Have done a few more tweaks and also suspect the 1/4 adaptor for the headphones might not have been seated correctly so, some improvements. Still sounds like the in-ears (KZ ZS10’s) are reaching the low end peak of their capabilities but wanted to check everything before...

    Quad Cortex - Neural DSP

Thank you so much for the reply. That’s great to hear. Just to check, what kind of in-ears are you using? Hopefully can troubleshoot around the issues I’ve encountered to see if I’ve missed something

    Quad Cortex - Neural DSP

Am sure it’s been discussed before (have been reading this thread since day one) and have googled like crazy, but anyone tried in-ears direct into the headphone socket of the QC, just for practicing and refining presets etc. Just tried it out and damn it sounded awful with a pair of KZ ZS-10’s...

Recent QC purchase here too. Bought the Neural gigcase and it messes with my OCD too much (UK plug doesn’t quite fit in the slot and find it too bulky) so, got this on Ali Express for £17.99 including postage Lol

    Quad Cortex - Neural DSP

What are you QC owners using to practice with at home in terms of studio monitors or in-ears that you’d recommend? The normal bass rigs and Powered P.A. Speakers, I’m aware of. Just trying to avoid keeping the unit if I’m only going to be running it though the my Aguilar rig at home to hear it...
