Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Yes, I power my “home” pedalboard this way. Will post the picture here, it’s pretty compact!

Here it is:

Powered by Cioks 4 Expander and an old power bank. I mainly play bass VI (which is actually strung with baritone strings and tuned A-A right now...) and fretless through this with headphones.

Also here's my "band" board, powered via Truetone CS6:

Both compact!

One DCX is on the edge of breakup and the other is allot more overdrive. I use MRX preamp to boost mids when I need to cut through better, otherwise it’s turned off.
Interesting. So you like the over drive sound on the EQ side more than the over drive sound on the OD side? I got a second DCX to use for over drive and hadn't considered trying this. This is great info, might need to give that a try!

Does the adaptive circuitry work in both EQ and OD? When doesn't the adaptive circuitry work?

Yes I like the EQ side better because of the Adaptive Circuitry. There is no Adaptive Circuitry in OD mode so treble roll off is always active regardless of your playing dynamics.

Thank you for the information, I'll try that out! It also looks like you have the compressor before the DCX. I guess you don't find that compression hinders the adaptive circuitry sensitivity?

Post-Christmas bonus switched up my board for the first time in a long time. Had to go back to the Pedaltrain Mini to get it all to fit. I’m proud of this one.
I actually really liked this era of Pedaltrain with the section on the front. great for hiding cables and keeping things tidy. I used this feature on a couple of homemade boards over the years.

I wish there was just a little more room in that slot so I could get cables through it. The original plan was to use the tuner on the Stomp and fit all this on a Nano, but the MIDI cable I ordered for the Stomp out to the Nano Cortex was a little too short, and it ended up not fitting. I measured and COULD get it as is on a Nano+ board, but I already had the Mini, so the Mini is where it stays.

Love that board. How do you think the Neptunium compares to your Noble?
thank you justin. it can get really close to the nobles tone. a sonically delicious warm tone by the neptunium and with the messengers EQ and boost it just adds another character to it as well. really diggin’ this clean board right now. Cheers to a great weekend man
