Hey sorry to derail this great thread but I love the cab tone you are getting. I realise it’s a combination of a lot of things, but what pedal do you use for those cab sims?

I’m not sure but maybe it’s because the fearful/fearless cabs have no colour and sound better with a cab sim, but I thought the barefaced were similar. Anyhow I need to test some heads or preamps.

For me with a fearful cab using a power amp, a cab sim just sounds better going through the cab. Haven’t tried the SLO yet though. I’m not sure if it’s just unique to using a poweramp and preamp rather than a regular bass amp.

I’m a midiot also but use a One Control Caiman tail loop switcher and use the four channels of the le bass with it. I find it hard to get the correct volume levels between hot and cold fusions but otherwise it works well in combination with other pedals. I’m sure there is a lot more you can do...

Yes that and what you said previously makes a lot of sense. No I asked why are they so expensive here and there doesn't seem to be many here and I would say that is why. They seem priced really well in US.

Good one! Yes I see how it’s more expensive but with with most US items there isn’t that much of a price hike. No hassle I just thought i’d see if there was a another reason. I think it prices most people out of it, I was wondering why so many people here seem to have Mesa boogie bass amps.

Does anyone know why the WD-800 is only $999 in US and in Europe it is €1500 ($1655)? Most music equipment is usually slightly higher here but that's a massive increase.
