I’m a midiot also but use a One Control Caiman tail loop switcher and use the four channels of the le bass with it. I find it hard to get the correct volume levels between hot and cold fusions but otherwise it works well in combination with other pedals. I’m sure there is a lot more you can do with the midi pedals you have. For the One Control it’s fairly basic to set up as the Le Bass is the only midi pedal I use.

I'm ordering a Midi cable, so I can utilize the Midi capabilities of Le Bass. I have a Source Audio Programable EQ in the loop , and I want to have it cange EQ settings with each channel of Le Bass. My A setting will be for finger style, and I have the EQ curve set so that it is nice and punchy and fat! I will use B with a different EQ curve in conjunction with a very convincing "Fretless" setting on my Zoom MS60b. Then Cold Fusion is set for a really cool Slap setting with a different EQ curve. I'm hoping this is fairly easy to do, 'cause Midi makes me crazy!!! Eventually I would like to have a way to change settings on the Zoom happen with one foot switch as well, but one step at a time.

I did this for a bit, and it worked well overall. It was also helpful in helping me to be able to balance the levels of all four modes to make them all useful to me.
Once you get into multiple MIDI devices, it's much easier to control the Le Bass with a different device as opposed to controlling everything else with the Le Bass. It's fairly limited in regards to the MIDI information you can output. It does work pretty great with a single device, though!
I’ve got my main tone (fingers) on A, Fretless sim (Zoom) on B, and Slap on CF. Different EQ curves and volumes on all three.
Pretty stoked (is that still a word?) with the whole set up!
Hello guys! I have been reading this thread and watching a lot of demos on youtube of this preamp. The general feeling is that this is a kinda preamp for "heavy" (lot of distortion). I wanted to use it in the Cold fusion mode to add a little tube warmth to my tone. Is that possible? Or should I be looking at something else? I currently use a Tone Hammer with the gain almost to its minimum position to get that tone. My goal is to get an ampless pedalboard and the cab sim on this thing is great. But the B channel by itself it's a little bit distorted for my taste. How do you guys use it?

I run mine pretty much clean, and it sounds Fat and punchy!
I use the A channel as my main tone (with the help of the SA EQ), and the B channel is used for a "Fretless Sim" I run on my Zoom MS60b. I then run Cold Fusion as my Slap tone. The SA EQ is hooked to Le Bass by Midi, and changes settings with each mode. It has made Le Bass infinitely more usable for me.
I can’t recommend the SA Programable EQ enough with Le Bass! The Midi was super easy to program. I now have three channels that are set up for different tones, and all volume matched, at my feet! I also have a fourth (Hot Fusion) set up for IEM’s!

I used to use the Le Bass in the fx loop of the HX, had MIDI out from LB to HX and enabled IR or EQ when switching to dirty channel. This worked for about 3 months, but by then I realized that the preamp models in HX sounded and felt as good as the LB. Since then Le Bass rests in a box awaiting the time when I have need for it in a studio setting.
The Sim cab in it is ok. I got the Torpedo CAB M and it increases it's versality immensely. See of you can pick ones of those up too.

My little pedal board with my beloved high-pass filter and Le Bass. Output goes to return socket of my Markbass CMP121P LM3 combo.
The power supply will be exchanged for a better one with 12/18V DC so I can avoid the extra power supply that comes with the LeBass.
I play a Warwick Streamer Stage 1 from 1992 and a Sire Marcus Miller v7 2nd Gen. as well as a 5string Steinberger Spirit Headless

U guys habe any hack besides writing down / taking foto of a knob setting u prefer and want to tune in exactly again after playing around?
None of these settings can be saved or accessed from MIDI, as I think these knobs are all analog. I know some people put cut out electrical tape arrows near the knobs to indicate were they prefer them to be set. I know that the limitations of doing that mean that it's harder to recall multiple different settings. I guess you could use different colored electrical tape
