Just pulled the trigger on the Le Bass. From everything I have heard, the clean is way out in front of everyone else, and the OD sounds as good or better than everyone else. Hope I get it by Friday so I can take it to the studio on Saturday to record.
So I got the Le Bass and it sounds great. But, I am not getting the dirty overdrive. Any ideas where I may be missing something?
Edit. Nevermind. Found it. As I increased the volume knob on my bass it came to life!

I highly recommend pairing this with Le Bass through Midi. It allows you a different EQ curve and volume setting for each channel, and will switch settings as you switch channels on Le Bass.

Thats a good idea, thats the thing I didnt like about the Lebass was the basic cooked in EQ and lack of control over mid frequencies.
It really changes the usability of Le Bass. It makes it easy to get volumes matched between the channels, and you can really tailor the drive settings to your own taste. And it makes the A channel very usable, because you can bring in the mids you need for a clean setting.

Due to COVID-19 and an upcoming recording project I wanted to set myself up with a really good system to hear things through headphones. Within the last month, I hooked my self up with a Le Bass and a Torpedo C.A.B. M. All I can say is that I am really stoked about this rig. The Le Bass is a very intuitive preamp that C.A.B. M has so many cool features. If I could get a number, that would be awesome.

Curious, did you use the EQ before or after(/in the loop of) the Le Bass? I'm likely picking up the EQ2 soon to do exactly what you suggest. Plan is to run it in the loop where my Broughton filter is; I could utilize both channels and also run a channel into the front, but I won't run the cables for it unless it's worth it.
I run mine in the loop with my YYZ. My filter (Spectrum) is first in my chain (for tracking purposes), then Cali76CB then Le Bass. I have a Spark mini as my last in chain before amp.
Setting up Le Bass to midi with EQ was a pretty simple process, and well worth it!
Even the Hot Fusion can be set up clean. Le Bass does clean well!
I've had my Le bass for about a month. I love it for recording, and i love all the options for setting tones. 90% of the time i am running in cold fusion mode, with a clean but strong sound. I play a fretless fender jazz and an ESP fretless p bass. both sound remarkable through this unit without really any major tweatking. Enjoying this pedal beyond measure!!!!
I took out the stock tube after a few minutes and tried a mesa boogie tube. this was a lot better but i felt it wasn't quite as throaty and warm as it could have been. splurged for a gold lion tube and oh my....warm, throaty, and full of tube vibe....that would be my recommendation.

utely loving my Le Bass and this thread!! I have learned a lot and have been reading and adjusting and playing and then doing it all over again! I finally got mine dialed in with a nice throaty but smooth jazz type sound. running on cold fusion. i play in jazz groups with a fretless fender jazz, flats, a mxr dyna comp compressor and an Ampeg BA 115. still chasing tone but not as much! I love this thing! my settings are pictured below.

I am a 100% jazz player and i only use the Le Bass and an MXR dynacomp compressor before it. I run my Le Bass on cold fusion and these are my settings: running with a fretless fender jazz with La Bella flats. it's a nice solid, deep tubey warm sound.
