    Hudson Project Bass

Its a very light bass, plays nicely, very fast thin neck. Good value for money Downsides are; electronics aren't great, I'd get them looked at for long term use, especially the battery connector and some of the basses' frets aren't trimmed properly. (Doesn't take too long to sort that!)

    Replacing Ashdown Driver

Christ I should have dug my head in the sand and bought a crappy generic driver, now you've got me thinking about converting the amp into a head, and building my own cab. I was considering splitting the combo up before, I hate having to lug it round as one piece, I'd rather do two trips

    Replacing Ashdown Driver

The ducts are 115mm each deep and the thickness of the wood of the cab is 22mm. By the way..I went into a guitar shop a couple of days ago and mentioned that my driver had gone, and their advice was don't replace it with the Ashdown one as they are rubbish, put an eminence one in there instead...

    Replacing Ashdown Driver

Thanks for the replies, thats what I needed to know - I'll just save my cash now and get the one from Ashdown save all the fiddling around. I didn't know drivers were so sensitive, and I haven't got the head for T/S parameters and that sort of techy business. I did have a look at the WIN ISD...

    Replacing Ashdown Driver

I need plenty of hand holders! Thought I'd provided the relevant info - I have a combo amp, its a Ashdown EVO III 500w amp, the speakers gone so I want to replace it. Just wondering if Invalid Link Removed or Invalid Link Removed will do the job. The speaker that has blown is a 15" blue...

    Replacing Ashdown Driver

    Replacing Ashdown Driver

I just blew my speaker in my Ashdown EVO III 500W combo last night, been quoted £68 for a replacement from Ashdown but I understand their speakers are shoddy. Just seen this: Invalid Link Removed I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience of installing a eminence speaker into this...
