how do i know if it's my amp, guitar or cable? When I plug it into my amp, and touch the other side of the cable, the amp makes a distorted noise, yet when I plug it into the guitar it makes no noise. it also makes no noise when I plug it from the guitar into the tuner.

just for more info. i have a gsr200 and i plug one end into it and one end into the input section.

hmm, i think i might go with the ibanez. one question, on the westfield b1000LH it states that it has a lot of bottom end? is that a good or bad thing? atm it's between the B1000LH (£129.00 or $210) and the GSR200L (£195 or $316)
