    They’re both loller p bass pickups that were got new, so I think they’re wired the same and properly. Bridge is overwound to compensate for bridge pickup stuff.

    I can’t get anything under the controls because of the height of the control bushings. I’d need to route the inside of the cavity deeper which I don’t have the tools for, or find pots with a longer bushing, which I struggled to do.

    I have no doubt I could do it, but I don’t own a drill press. I was hoping someone was going to tell me about some hand tool I could get inexpensive and use. Definitely going to try groovaholics suggestion though, seems much easier
