    Paramore #1

Although I'm probably way older than their target audience... I gotta admit their music has always been a huge guilty pleasure of mine. They know just how to write strong hooks, and damn can she sing. Haven't really had to chance to listen to the whole album yet, but I'm really impressed by...

    Wave Goodbye...

Wow, that's fascinating. AATCHB is my personal favourite NIN track. Really curious to know how you guys arranged it and who played which instrument, since it's probably one of the most structurally complex NIN songs... I wonder if Trent decided against playing it either because he wasn't...

    Wave Goodbye...

Happy new year Justin! Some people who managed to grab the setlist at the Wiltern were surprised to see that The Great Below was featured but wasn't played. My personal guess is that it probably wasn't rehearsed enough at that point... Now that the tour is over and there are no more surprised...

    Wave Goodbye...

Nice one kristi! Trying to catch up here... Toronto was excellent once again, I was more into it than my previous Terminal 5 gig. It was fun watching NIN on a huge stage again, especially with such good seats (200s, front row, center). My first festival experience. I found it to be remarkably...

    Wave Goodbye...

For Toronto : I've looked into the matter and it looks like the curfew is indeed 9PM, venue's decision, Virgin can't do anything about it. I doubt NIN will be allowed to play longer than that. 1h15 is really short indeed. Hopefully you guys will bust out a ballsy setlist like that time you...

    Wave Goodbye...

Yeah I would dare ask the same question... Even though in the end it's probably Trent's call, but I really wonder if we'll get a typical win-over-the-crowd set or the same kind of ballsy, hardcore-fan-oriented sets... NIN sold out the Molson Amp 3 times since 2006 : chances are well over half...

    Wave Goodbye...

Another long drive... Terminal 5 was yet again full of surprise. Really liked the second encore with Peter Murphy. It kinda felt like watching a bunch of friends jamming their favourite songs together to please themselves, more than a traditional concert... Very nice, fresh and exciting :)...

Nice, big thumbs up for the rush! Hopefully some of those new additions will pop up at other shows. And congrats also for remembering the words to Ruiner... 'The Ruiner knows Phil Spector, he likes wearing sweaters...' Hahaha!

I can't believe you guys actually played TDS in its entirety yesterday! Wow, wish I could have been there! Did you guys rehearse in a rush to learn the remaining songs or were they all already mastered during the original rehearsals for NIN/JA?

    Wave Goodbye...

Just go home in Montreal after a very long drive. Bowery was simply mindblowing. Funny how less than two months ago I posted about NIN being done live and being sad about NIN/JA being over, and yet here we are. Yesterday was INTENSE. This is easily the best sounding venue I have ever seen NIN...
