Hey guys, thanks for the input. My phone won't upload the photos I wanted to share but the switch went fine. Had to get use to seeing the massive change in colour the whole bass went through from having such a dark neck now. Sounds great and plays even better. Thank y'all for the help. :)

Ok. So the j neck does not fit the 50s p body snug. Not at all. It fits but there is considerable wiggle room. A mil. or so on either side of the slot. The neck is able to move many degees left and right. This is all before I put the screws back into place, of course. If installed, I figure is...
