we tour with original rock music, sooooo....i have to add::: promote! promote! promote! every band you play with is your favorite band! with my situation image is way important...you have to try not to look like someone kids at your show would see in the halls at school.

i always practice with my bass through a tiny $50 marshall amp...obviously its not setting any records but it works in my recliner watching tv...

thanks again dude! practiced with it tonight...really thumps. does anybody know the model of that...i dont think its an svr 215 because thats listed as having 3 or 4 rack spaces. any ideas? it really doesnt make a difference....it kicks a$$ for me, but im just curious

i just got an ampeg 215 with opposed 15 inch cones and a horn. says 4 ohm, 400 watt but i cant read the model #....the guy said he thought it was an svr-215 but i think that model has rack space.. mine sure doesnt... it has a 3 pos switch for the horn, and one 1/4" input. any ideas what...

i need to go to the shops...if i am gonna upgrade the speakers in an older cab, where would i get current stuff...any suggestions on websites? thanks for all the input

i love the modded cab...that is kinda my thing to dick with stuff but i tour and i need to kick a$$ if i want to sell t-shirts...i dont want to spend a boatload but i need decent durable stuff...can i get all the modern hifi stuff to stick in an old cab or would i just be better off buying what...

i've always liked to practice on acoustic (guitar and bass) because it forces me to articulate each note more...to my fingers there's less margin for error using an acoustic... i know its no recommendation but its something to consider even if an ABG wont be very loud...and Yeah a pick...

i probably wont fry the amp as i would run two cabs from 2 amps in the 4 pro...id be more worried about smoking the cabs...but like i said 99% of gigs have a PA, so i dont turn up too loud...just looking to add some oomph to the low end... on that note, though, if they di me my rig is not as...

local sale for d115 for $175...these any good? i know basses fairly well but i dont know jack about amp/cab tones... still thinking about the 2x15 fender also...

i play a stingray through an svt4pro with a cheapo hartke 4x10...i think the cab sucks...it growls in the middle fine but i need more low end oomph...friend told me i could augment the 4x10 with an old fender 2x15 cab...they have em used locally for around $300, albeit a little beat up... i tour...

are all of the recent stingrays active? this may be a goofey question but im looking to buy one and i want to make sure i get the active EQ... thanks
