I have changed the battery. It's weird.....Much of the time the bass sounds great. It's only on occasion that I'm not satisfied with the sound. I'm taking it on a gig tonight.....We'll see.

I tried a Music Man Cutlass without the intention of buying it. I fell in love with it quickly in the music store and bought it. It's a really great P bass. It's got tone that 'punches through' in just the right way and the action is quite fine.
