    Disappointed with Ampeg PF-115HE.

Hi stiles72! Could you please elaborate on this for me for better understanding? Does that mean, that even with the crossover turned off, the speaker does not receive the full range signal as it would if the speaker is directly connected to the input jack? Many thanks in advance, I know it is...

    Vintage 15" JBL comparisons w/soundclips

Hi! I am asking your opinion if you think it would worth it to give a chance to these E130-8 speakers. Apparently they are refurbished, but the price is quite good for the pair. I would maybe use them in a sealed Ampeg PF 115 HE cab, driven by the Ampeg PF50-T head. The other option I was...

    JBL E140-8 cab build

Any thoughts on replacing the factory speaker with this JBL in an Ampeg PF 115 HE sealed cab? All your inputs would be highly appreciated!

How to remove and clean grill from Ampeg PF115LF

I found 4 screws in the front 4 corners from the interior. It seems they could hold the grill plate in place? Am I right?

    The official Ibanez Blazer/Roadstar Club

It is a real beautiful piece of wood indeed, thank you! It definitely has a Stingray wibe, as far as I know, the pick-up is placed exactly on the same sweet spot. Very easy to play crispy, well articuladed notes anywhere on the fretboard. Rich, modern but somehow still organic sound wich never...

My New Used 50th Anniv Ampeg 810 with BIG logo; 1st One I've Seen Like It

Thank you Jimmy! No question: these speakers are BRIGHT. I've also googled that Eminence started their production in China in 2006, so the fifty years series is all USA. These cabs may be the early OSB prototypes of the Heritage 810s ;)

My New Used 50th Anniv Ampeg 810 with BIG logo; 1st One I've Seen Like It

I've pulled one of the speakers, since no numbering was visible through the jack plate hole. Still no indicaton of the country of origin of the speakers.

My New Used 50th Anniv Ampeg 810 with BIG logo; 1st One I've Seen Like It

Almost 7 years after the this thread from Josh, here in Hungary I've bumped into and bought another wonderful 810 AV cab of the same fifty years series. Heavy like mud, thick OSB... No dual mode - 4 ohms mono only - no skid rails and no kick plate on the back, made in USA, for the domestic...

    Dynacord Bass King, speaker impedance?

Just checked the schematics, and I guess, in case I would like to keep the possibility of using one 8 ohm cabinet at times, and using 2 8 ohms cabs at other occasions, I will have to solder the 16 ohms output to the 8 ohm tap on the output transformer, and have to move the wires of the paralell...

    Dynacord Bass King, speaker impedance?

Hi Martin, Could you please tell me, if it is possible to connect two 8 ohm speakers at the same time, to each of the 8 ohm outputs of the Bass King T. The users manual suggests 16 ohms cabs to pair when using both of the 8 ohm outputs... They are wired paralell I guess, but it's not entirely...

    Another Ampeg B200R saga...

Does it make a difference running the V4B 2 or 4 Ohms? Does it effect power tubes life expectancy, or any other things like this?

And pairing it with an svt-212av under the V4B? Would that makes sense?
