I just bought these 2 JBL D130F speakers for $230.00 for the pair and they work.

They work so long as you don't push them too hard. They don't have the power handling of the 140's.

I stumbled in here about the JBL 15's for guitars and I am really enjoying reading all this about bass and all of your experiences.
I just got home with my e130 freshly reconed. Got this speaker out of a dumpster. It was all stabbed with a knife or something. Sounded sweet AF at low volume(even with all that damage) so I had to get it repaired. Now that I'm home, it was too late to try it on here. Lol anxiously looking forward to try it it tomorrow!

I am asking your opinion if you think it would worth it to give a chance to these E130-8 speakers.
Apparently they are refurbished, but the price is quite good for the pair.
I would maybe use them in a sealed Ampeg PF 115 HE cab, driven by the Ampeg PF50-T head.
The other option I was thinking about is a Faital 15PR400, in case you have an opinion on that - maybe compared to the JBL - that would be also interesting for me.

I don’t believe the E130 is a bass driver, you want the E 140. The Faital is close in tone, but doesn’t have that high end sparkle that the K140 has, due mostly to that aluminum dust cap, imho.

First, that’s not an
E-130 (wrong cone) and it’s been reconed with knock-off parts.

Don’t waste your money.
