I tried the hard fishing rod case but didn't like that I had to carry stand separate. Got speaker stand case from Carvin instead. Has some padding and stand fits as well. $39 plus $6 for shipping. I bought some thick foam to protect my ergo bass from stand and add more padding.

Played with it for a couple of hours when I first received it and then used it for my next gig. Not difficult to get used to. The clarity and the tone made my other basses seem muffled.

I just put the neon orange on my Spector. They sound pretty good. I need to see how they work out when I play with band. I don't think they're as clear as the black beauties I had on this bass before.
