    What if it's a color that is not only "not my favorite", but is disliked by almost all people on the planet - but is perfect in all other respects? I currently find myself in this boat. The color in question is trans-green. The bass is a '99 Stingray.

    Thank you beate_r. I just put new strings on today and I thought they were a bit clanky (which surprised me), but I hope they settle down in a few days.

    Do nylon tape wound strings break-in over time or are they going to sound and feel the same on day 1 as day 90? Just put a set on my P bass, thanks.
