I am the happy owner of a cousin to yours -- mine is the short-scale passive version - the J430. I'm traveling so don't have a full pic at the moment. Solid ash, 7.75lbs, Lull in-house sc pickups (lovely J growl but fuller and meatier). A great instrument - ergonomics, playability, sound.

Has anyone chained two Rumble 40's together for a "210 combo"? If so how did you do this and how does it sound? Does one of the R40's act as master gain/vol/tone as with two Rumble 100s chained that i have read about?
