    I owned Carvin and own Mesa. Mesa all the way......I love the pure power of Tubes, I run 12-6L6, 4-12AX7 Tubes on the Bass 400+ for a nice warmth sound.

    I used to have Carvin Red line series 600 with 4x10 speakers. Carvin has to many features for very little money, the head blew out a few years ago and sold it really cheap. I now run a Mesa Boogie 400+ w/ 4x10 RoadReady and could not be happier. I'd say: stay away from Carvin,
