    Let him play. Act like he did a great job, whether he did or not and that you are confident enough to let him play on YOUR turf. After all, it is your gig.

    I play classic rock, gig 5-8 times a month. I recently picked up a Genz shuttle 9.2 and neon x212. The rig is compact, light & powerful and relatively easy to dial in.

    Fender Jazz Fretboard choice?

    I have both. Maple Jazz and rosewood p with p/j. Love 'em both, can't tell the difference between them since they are two different sounding basses, but the maple neck looks soooo cool and I can see the neck better in the dark when the lights are low.
