    thats fair enough enough ed! i realise they wouldnt exactly be the kind of player that andy was talking about! i guess as i said theyre just the players im into at the moment! though i will definetely check out those records/players you mentioned! thanks vrry much everyone!!

    Play with records man, I've found that on some records when I plug the player into my old amp if I jiggle the lead a bit it'll cut out the bass and then I'll walk the bass. It's forcing me to really listen to the drums, which is really helping to improve my feel!
