You guys are the best. I had to come on to let you know while going through John's stuff I found a multitude of tapes that he made of him jammin' with his buds...there must be over a dozen or so..:bassist: . What a beautiful gift for my kids...my dream is that one of them (or both of them)...

You must have got to go when I didn't :) ...that was probably the year we met....2003? We got engaged soon after we met. He was a beautiful spirit, was he not?

I just looked at the amp---it's so used that I can't even find marking or a manufacturer name on it...oh well. I do know it meant something to him and he thought it was a good piece of equipment, so maybe I'll just keep it--if we have room.....

Greg, you may *only* be 16, but you sound like you have an old soul. :) My husband owned a music rehearsal studio in Manhattan, and was a mentor to a lot of young (and old) musicians--he was the ultimate cheerleader and encourager, but had a soft spot in his big ol' heart for the younger...

Thanks again to you all. I'm telling you, and I'll say it again: just being here makes me feel closer to my husband. I used to say I had no regrets---now I have one: I wish he'd found this site before he died--he would have loved it! But hey, I know he'd probably be happier and prouder that...

Could someone tell me approximately the value of it? I know it's a custom and I have a young son and am thinking it would be wise to hold onto it for him and not sell it. He had a LOT of bass guitars and guitars and we won't have room for them all--but seeing the word "custom" on it made me...
