Website doesn`t seem to get updated much, but I got a new 210212L about a month ago. Had many direct phone calls and emails with Jorg, in the process, and you just can`t deal with a nicer, more helpful guy. I`m sure if you contact him, you`ll find the same, and that Schroeder is doing just fine...

Cant believe this isn`t gone yet. The economy must really be hurting the bass world. Again, I`m gonna suggest the Steinberger Forum. People are always looking for clean XL2s.

Bump for a great bass. I had an Ampeg aub in the 70s ( same reason, because Danko had one), and got rid of it only because it wasn`t the bass to try and learn fretless on. My other basses at the time were a Gibson EB3 and a Guild Starfire, both 30'' scale and the stretch to that neck was too...

i agree with Shreikback, I`m the original owner of #2049, and if you`re looking for a XL-2, this is one to grab. You should try and post it on the Steinberger forum before going to e-bay.
