Congrats!! As you can see I have a twin of your bass. I have had it for over five years and still love it. Only problem I thought was that it was a little deficient in the mid range. I recently decided to drop new Bartolini pickups and preamp into it and now it is a beast!!

I voted brightness because with five different basses I always lose track of when I last replaced strings on which bass. :)

Just got a MTD Kingston KZ 5 Monday, and so far I am loving it! I will probably eventually upgrade the electronics to Barts or Nordstrand pickups with a preamp though.
