The Darkglass BK7, it was pretty sterile compared to my Sanamp Paradriver. Together they were great but couldnt justify having two pedals to get the sound I wanted for that kind of money spent. Sold off the Darkglass

This has happened a few times with various brands Ive tried and most of the time the company will replace them but what a pain in the ass. I ordered SIT Foundations recently cause they had a sale 40% off. Nickel and Stainless. Both fricking A strings were dull out of the package! ***?

I recently ordered the Foundation Nickels and I like the punchy tone and a little sweet overtone to them but the fricken A string was dull right out of the pack! Jesus On The Christ! Maybe thats why they were only $12?

Im going to say that like myself, ampeg just doesnt appeal to alot of players for the one reason that its kind of a one trick pony. Very deep and old school classic sounding. I never could get ampegs to cut in a mix. Fine for playing classic rock moldy oldy type stuff. Its that muffled round...

I actually won a set of foundations through their giveaway on Facelife. I chose the stainless steel 45-105 for my ESP B304 neck thru bass with EMG's.
