Wow, the GC pics are really super poor, nothing like the Reverb ones. My eyes are getting old, but the thumbrest seems to be the only tell they are even the same bass. Nicely spotted!

Granted, the thumbrest seems to be from quite another universe, but $1100 still was a crazy bargain! I honestly don’t need another five string Cirrus, but had I seen this in time it would have been irresistible. Hope it made it into the Forum!

Not sure if I’ve actually watched the fourth season yet (which I guess says something about my urgency), but I’m still saddened to hear there will be no season five. Doris, I love you, you live me.:cool::smug::cool:

These are amazing basses, and at this price represent a fantastic value! If I somehow could motivate owning two, this one would be long gone. Best of luck with the sale, someone is gonna be making a great purchase here!

Thanks guys, happy you like it! Realized I had to give it black strings for looks, and tbh that is the reason I found out how much I love the LaBella Black Nylons on fretless.

DR Fat Beams are my go to strings for almost everything, except for vintage sound and fretless where I’ve turned to LaBella Black Nylons the last couple of years. (Realizing I’m now gonna have to take a pic of my LaBella wearing fretless Peavey Cirrus…)

I believe mine looks the same, think he did it like that in the early days.
