Club Alleva-Coppolo (Part 21)

The Inca Silver always gets me. It's so good. I've got an 06' Candy Apple Orange Juice in nitro. Honestly wasn't my first pick, but I've loved how it's aged.

Yes! I was going to mention one of the things I love about the color is how different it looks based on lighting.
Mine is the 06 EUT5. It's nitro body is worn in places, but I wouldn't change a thing on it.

Just ... always works, always sounds punchy n full,
and that's usually without adding any pre amp, just in active mode and bass and treble controls off..... knowing I can add something if I need.

Yours?

LG5 TB Classic Supreme … it's become my be-all end-all bass for me. No more GAS after this one arrived. My only other bass now is an RA5 TB ltd ed…it's a great complimentary backup.

Righto... completely understand that.

Being in Australia, there's not a lot of A-C's about in the wild.

I scored mine back around 2010 for what was then a good price, now that would be a complete steal. And unless I get hit with horrific monetary issues, mine will be with me until I'm unable to play it.

My other favorite bass would probably be the 2014 Gibson EB4, with its twin humbuckers and vol taps for both. It's really light, sounds terrific and is versatile. I got it for way less than a quarter of what I paid for the A-C EUT5. but to me, it's worth damn near equal.

My A-C EUT5 is primavera body, nitro paint, maple neck n board with poly paint on that.
It sounds and plays so good that I reckon I could simply leave the strings that are on it for as long as they lasted and didn't break and it'd still sound better than anything else I've got.

And..... it stays in tune from gig to gig
It ain't that light weight, don't actually know what it weighs, must measure it sometime, but it's nowhere near as light as the EB4, but with the stretchy, padded strap it's certainly no probs, even on long gigs.
Here's a current pic.....I love how it's worn...

Hello everybody, I'm in the process of ordering an AC (my second) and I'm having a hard time figuring what finish to go with. Would it be possible to see some pictures of people's ACs so that I can get a better sense of what the colors look like on their basses? In particular, it would be great to see some of the Fender-style colors (fiesta red, Dakota red, lake placid blue, burgundy mist etc), since that's likely what I'll be going with.

I've scoured so many threads on TB, forums, Facebook and seller sites, which has been great, but it would be really useful to have a selection all in one place. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I'm late to the party, but check out my Alabama Sky Blue LG5. This is my perfect bass.

I ordered a KBP 5 custom (i.e. a P/J 5-er) in Candy Green. Absolutely love my KBP 5, so I'm hoping that extra pickup will be a nice addition. Ordered through John Fox, whom I bought my other AC from; he is the best!
Yes he is. I have that same setup which came thru John originally. Lots of tones in there. BTW, I just put a pearloid pickguard on this on it really pops now
