I can account for the 1001rb bi amp feature. Just picked up a neo 4x10 connecting with a Speakon cable. It sounds amazing and it's much quieter in the biamp mode with the speakon then full range mode and a 1/4 jack. I am very happy and very impressed.

I have been playing for 18 years plus but I am no tetchy nor have I ever spent that much time adjusting sound. I actually got rid of my Hartke 3500 head for that same reason. Don't want a ton of eq settings. But I use my cab as my main monitor on stage and I can't even turn it up right now...

Yeah. I have been through several basses and I just dont think I will ever let her go. I even let a WARWICK Thumb NT 5 go several years ago. That bass was surely worth more then the Spector but the Spector just sounded better.....and it didnt neck dive during live performances.

I have an older NT Czech Spector. I love it!!!! It weighs about 13 lbs and for longer gigs I usually need a chiropractor but the sound is unmatched. Has anyone noticed how much Louder the Czech bass sounds compared to other basses?

Do either of you have preference for 4x10 or 2x12. What about other 2x12 bass amps that I should consider.
