Great question! The red one was first, I was listening to ZZ Top and wanted to get that tone. Turns out I don't sound like Dusty! Kept it for a long time but ended up selling because I couldn't get my sound out of it. The ash one was probably just stupidity, another try with a different body...

Time for an IMA4 family pic. The pink J is the newest one, these are my 3 favorite IMA4s. Alder and rw with Lull Jazz pickups on the left, mahogany body and neck in blue, and alder/rw in green. Such wonderful basses.

That list has PWV at 39 and 94.

The spacing at the bridge is 19mm. The IMA4 neck is slightly bigger at the nut than a typical Lull J neck.
