How many have had amps over 10 years and still use them?

I have my B15 since 1968, but did replace OEM speaker about ten years later with an Altec Lansing 421A

At what age have you started playing bass?

Just cannot get used to that 5th string so my Fender V is gathering “Dust”

We ALL have that ONE bass...

Interesting comments, never really looked at it that way in my Bass Playing career that started at age 15 in 1962, but I enjoyed your thoughts just the same! Rich

A defense of the Gibson EB-3

I Have been playing Bass since 1962, first a new Danelectro, then a used 1961 J Bass, finally buying a new 1965 EB3, which I still have and use regularly (with either a 12" Kustom, a Fender Rumble 150 & 15 and still my favorite is a 1965 Tube B15). I also have a American Vintage 1964 J-Bass...

    A little Ampeg advice needed

KN, As a Bass Player since 1962, & having owned 2 B18s(1966) and 1 B15(1965 and still have & use with my 1965 Gibson EB-3), I would recommend Ampeg to ALL Bass Players, regardless of Model or Size, just make sure you play ALL you Basses you own thru both Amps and trust your ears! Regards...
