    I've heard of lots of people doing that, but I agree that you should probably get one with built-in speakers.

    Comments on short scale basses?

    Short scale is not bad at all in my opinion. Some people are just more comfortable with it (not me). I belive that Paul McCartney played a shrt scale and just look at him.
