Jamerson used it in a recording studio with a microphone, a modern single 12" cab using a P with flats is still way better than that at low volume.

I'm quite surprised anything went wrong with that cab, was it directly standing on the floor or raised ? all the stages where I've been provided a 410HLF it was raised, decoupling is the way to go with ported cabs IMHO. Well... either way they decoupled all the 410 cabs now that I look back to...

I'm 51 and both near and farsighted, the regular 10" iPad size works well for me, I'm using that size for gigs and teaching students since 10 years now, works just fine with many apps like iRealPro, Notion (yes, notation also), Drumgenius, Earmaster, Polynome Metronome, and so on.
