Thanks for all the feedback, guys. Disappointed it's not what I hoped but..on the up side..it plays fine and feels fine and I didn't pay a lot for it. And I still like the looks. Cheers from sunny Scotland.

Hi All, first post, new to this, but hoping someone might help me identify my newly-acquired Fender P Bass. I bought it second-hand in the UK, the serial number indicates its Japanese-made, 1985-86, but the decal states 'made in USA'. The neck plate is missing so no further ref number there...
