If you listen to his more recent stuff since his album 'One More Angel' he is an absolute genius - agreed that before that he was a bit too flashy, but check out his albums 'Reverence' or 'Now'. They are seriously imaginative and mature jazz albums. Obviously it's quite a subjective matter but I...
