I figured it out! Realised I haven't updated the C4 itself since I got it a few years ago. Updated the firmware and it worked straight away. I knew it would be something idiotic on my behalf! On the plus side, the messages I've set up do exactly what I wanted, so at least it means I'm learning!

I'm using the new SA168 midi adaptor. It's supposed to do pretty much the same thing as the hub.

Hey guys, just picked up my first Fuzzrocious pedal... a Demon with 2nd drive mod. Loving it so far, anyone know if I can run it at 18v for a bit more headroom?

It was a faulty power module, and it had to be replaced. It cost me £170 and nearly 6 months to get sorted. If you're in the US you'll hopefully get some support. I'm sure @agedhorse would be able to give you some advice on finding a decent repair centre, he knows his stuff.

I'm over it... it wouldn't stop me trying Hartke again in the future. I've only dealt with one faulty amp in the past which was an Ashdown and was sorted immediately. I'll keep a lookout for a different tech in my area in case I need anything else in the future. Thanks.

I'm sure Hartke have such a network in the States. Unfortunately they couldn't seem to give a damn about people in other countries. The repair itself wasn't crazy expensive, it was the 5 months of trying to talk to someone and waiting for shipping that put a bitter taste in my mouth.

Hey, I actually only got the amp back about 3 weeks ago... took almost 5 months to get sorted! Had to get a power amp module from Hartke in the states, the customer service in the UK was non existent. Just sold it too... had to buy another amp while it was in for repair so ended up sticking...

No, I'm still no further. Hartke customer support were less than helpful, and they told me to contact the UK distributor (Hal Leonard) who weren't helpful as they send any repairs to Holland. I gave it to a local amp tech over 3 weeks ago and he's had no joy from Hartke or Hal Leonard getting...
