Hey! I thought I might be the only one. Funnily enough I'm gonna pick it up today, it had a duff bridge pickup so they swapped it out for a new one. Hopefully it's all clear sailing from here on in!!

Yeah, the shop is a Music Man accredited repair centre, so my warranty will be ok. Bit of a bummer though!

Well, it's noticeably different to when I first got t a week ago and with all the pickups in series(all buttons out) its extremely quiet; whereas it should be the punchiest.

So, after a gig and two practices the bridge pick up is putting out about 20% the volume it should do. Anybody else had this problem? It's going in to the shop for a closer inspection tomorrow. :bawl::help: ...I'm trying to keep a positive outlook on all of this.

Ok, Finally got my Big Al. So far it's been all good; finish, set-up, electronics, were all spot on out of the case and the tuning was even perfect after the trip across the atlantic ...in fact I've not even had to re-tune at practice yet! The biggest surprise was the size of the body. I look...

Thanks Melvin. I didn't think I'd be the only one, I was just interested to know how rare/common it was as all my fellow musicians hadn't really heard of it.

So I just placed my order for a 4 string, Sapphire Black, MN, SSS, Black PG with matching headstock and decided get on the forum to celebrate. how do I join the Big Al club? ...are there badges ;) Is there any way of knowing how many Big Als there are in the UK? I can't eb the only one?!
