    Sorry if this is a noob question (did a quick search) but what's the difference between cv expression input and a normal expression input ie just contolling the sweep of a knob?

    I'm thinking about either a boss syb 5 or a copilot gyroscope, what do you guys reckon is best without factoring price into it. Looking for a controlable wobble pedal (already have a premethous but wish it had an expression pedal input) that can also get other sounds.
