What is your favorite "occillator" for dub step.
Right now mine is a noisebox with the envelope off and the freq set low.

so if there were a wobble pedal, would you want:
-a clean filter sound, a fuzzed filter sound or fuzzed sound?, having the wobble be directly proportional to the notes being played (lower notes will have a slower sweep, higher notes faster sweep),
-having the option to plug an external unit to control the wobble via a jack (ie. plugging a drum machine, metronome or oscillators, when there's nothing plugged it will track your instrument), so it can be easier to control for live usage.
-wich waveform to control the wobble of the filter, square, steps, saw, triangle or i'm purist i just want sine waveform?

I'm thinking about either a boss syb 5 or a copilot gyroscope, what do you guys reckon is best without factoring price into it. Looking for a controlable wobble pedal (already have a premethous but wish it had an expression pedal input) that can also get other sounds.

You could sell the **** out of these.

The only pedal that does anything like this is a Nocto Loco. It mixes in a signal 4,5, or 6 octaves down, and when the waveform gets slowed down to that extent it becomes slow enough to become what is known in the business as throbbing wobble. If you pump that into an envelope filter, the volume ramping up and down will open and close the filter.

Wow this could be very interesting....
just fired up the proto, it's getting there, i'll design another pcb, cause i might have to another section to fine tune the wobble. And probably it will be 3 knobs. I had some fun running a drum machine into the filter and controlling the wobble playing chords on the guitar (i think it will do some fake vocoders tones if i plug a mic in the aux in). I think this most appeal for people doing layers of sounds or to love to experiment in a studio environment.
