I'll answer my own questions - direct from Truetone support: "Thanks for writing in. There is no difference between the two versions of CS6. They are all the same. Over the coming year, we will change all graphics to use blue labeling. The internal components and the enclosure remain the same."

Hello Bass People! Question please - I've been looking at buying a Truetone 1 SPOT Pro CS6, but have been seeing a yellow (older) version and a blue (newer) version - pictures attached below. Are there any physical size differences between the two? Or is it simply a graphics change?

If I was looking for another type of coated string, I could look at the DR Dragon Skin+. I believe they have 2x different lengths: - standard = 37 3/4" ball end to taper - Multi-scale = 39 1/2" tapered I'll buy the standard set (as it's cheaper) and see how it fits the NS bass ad report...

Hello all, I just installed a set of Elixir strings on my 35" scale NS CR5 and I believe the B string isn't long enough - please see the attached photos. To clarify, the B string has a taper to it (I believe that's what it's called) - so the full thickness of the string doesn't go all the way...

Hey all, long story short, how long would a new set of Elixir Strings stay new in an unopened package? Should I be worried that the coating might change / disintegrate in 6x months or so? I could place the unopened package in a Ziplock bag and keep it in a drawer in my basement office...
