I got that one with the old headstock :) Mine came with a Black PG though, I bought a tort one too though because I couldn't decide and the black is defo better. Tort doesn't work on a 3TS imho. Well, at least on this particular shade

My bridge pup is covered so I don't slap near there anyway. Nope, the poles aren't higy out of the pickup, they're nestled in very nicely. I just lowered the pup a little. Sounds much better!

I've noticed while playing slap, I'm getting an awful *thud* from the pickups every now and then. I suspect its my wrist pressing the strings against the pickup so I plan on lowering the neck pup. The bridge one seems unaffected. Was taking pictures of her last night with my phone and everytime...
