I think it's awesome you did this and that I might try it eventually. One thing I am curious about though, how does the finish hold up against the strings? I know everyone's style, aggressive-ness, play time, etc and so on varies, but reapplication of a top layer?

Played for quite awhile around 15 years old, 3 year span I'd say. Good. Currently 23, it was like riding a bike. Still know all my scales, arpeggios, few chords, etc. Out of a 10 I'd say 6 since I am considering some of the godly abilities many have. Not sure exactly how to gauge my skill level...
