    Seymore Duncan 1/4 pounders

well poopie i been had, that's what i get for not doing my research. i did think the poles looked to small. i forgot my meter when i met him. well $40.00 for stock isnt too rediculous, but i think i will look into a preamp for these, considering the lower ohms.

I believe I had a legit '52 P-Bass at my house last night

wiring ? cap not original. resistor could be right though. otherwise, my limited knowledge says it looks pretty damn sweet. pencil markings seem awfully dark, for 80 yrs old.

Got it back together, it still needs more neck/fret work, but it amazed me at how it sounds, punchy overdrive growl. Them pups are hot, i think im gonna lower them a bit more, mags really pull the sustain away. But on a different note i spotted a USA t-40 at pawn shop. This thing plays so warm...

Well the neck has a slight twist in it. Not enough to affect it i dont think, but still im gonna apply some heat and try working out out.I was able to get truss nut undone with a tapered allen key, gotta find a replacement now. But knowing what it is, im not gonna bother with refinishing it...
